Running this site there are a few things I’ve noticed when it comes to fans of Desmond. You quickly learn the movie favorites, tv show favorites, and common ideas and thoughts. One I’ve noticed is that people always vote Desmond a favorite when they fan cast comic books. The number one character that stands out has been Captain America. Since Chris Evans has been cast as this hero I’ve seen the want grow and grow among comic book and Desmond fans, check out the bit below created by fan epichesca.

I know I talk about Captain America a lot, then you guys bring up and talk about the “new movie” that’s coming out. Then I say, “I wish Desmond Harrington was Cap instead of Chris Evans, ‘cause I mean Chris is already in the Fantastic Four y’know. Desmond Harrington looks like a Captain America to me! He also has that fine fine New York accent ha. But yeah Chris Evans is cool!”

Anyway, my first time at photoshop.. What do you guys think?

Plus it’s like 4 in the morning, so give meh a break!

then there is another bit from ComicBookMovie.com

Created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, Captain America first appeared in 1941 in his own series of comic books and has followed the country through many chapters of its history. Born on July 4, 1917, Steve Rogers grew up on the Lower East Side of New York City. He became Captain America after volunteering for a secret defense program known as Operation: Rebirth, which was intended to create incredibly strong and powerful soldiers. The project’s first test subject, Rogers underwent all sorts of treatments from injections of serums to exposure to a special kind of rays. He was transformed from a slight and scrawny weakling into a man with superhero strength

Desmond Harrington is know for straring in movies like Ghost Ship, Wrong Turn and The Hole, but shows his true acting chops as Joey Quinn in the showtime’s hit TV show Dexter. Desmond have a strong Present on Dexter , he can make you hate him and love him in a single hour. Desmond have the all – american look and a very strong actor

So what do you think? What other comic book character would you pin Desmond for?

6 Hookups We’d Like To See On TV Next Season

6 Hookups We'd Like To See On TV Next Season

“Dexter” Hookup: Detective Debra Morgan and Detective Joey Quinn

This season, Dexter’s cop sister traded in her once-steamy relationship with Antoine for a second go-at-it with aging Agent Frank Lundy. But when both Debra and Lundy were shot by a still-unknown assailant, the potty-mouthed detective had to stare into the eyes of the man she loved as he died. It was sad. For, like, a second. It’s time for Deb to quit the mourning and realize that she’s got the perfect rebound material in her partner, hot-headed Detective Quinn.

He’s been hot on the trail of the person who shot her and Lundy, and despite a lapse in judgment in the form of an affair with that nosy reporter, I think he’s the perfect person to nurse Deb’s broken heart. Plus, he looks like he’d be a freak in the sack.
